This bedroom/bathroom combo was for a family wishing for indulgent luxury on a par with hotel type facilities, whilst retaining the practicalities of children's bath time.
They had a small en suite bathroom with bath, basin and toilet. They wanted a big freestanding bath, walk in shower, double sinks and WC.
We moved walls, stole a landing cupboard, opened up the bathroom and let it flow back into the bedroom.
Late afternoon sun now floods the whole room, which now occupies the full width of the house.
The project was highly commended in the Design Awards 2003: Bathroom designer of the year.
